Most of us are blogging just to share our thoughts and for fun.
Now that we read a lot of success stories in blogging. We are all fascinated and also want to start making money from blogs. The problem is we don know how and where to start. I really want to know and help newbies without spending a lot.

1. Choose a blogsite.
There are numerous blog sites available. You can try blogger or wordpress. I prefer blogger. I can easily manage my site even I am neither a web designer nor programmer.


2. Pick a topic.
In choosing a topic, know what are the readers looking for and interested with. Something you also have interest so you will enjoy what you are doing. In which you are an expert so you can share more with your readers. Most important, choose profitable topic to earn.
How to know if your topic is profitable?
Search your topic in google. Check if there are advertisers or adwords.
Use a powerful keyword, a keyword that people will search for.

3. Share your blog.
Now that your blog is setup; we need readers. Share it with your families and friends.

4. Know Social Networking Marketing.
Most of us are active users of facebook, twitter and other social networking sites. Make use of it. Share your blogs in your facebok and twitter accounts. There are widgets available to easily share our blogs in popular social networking sites.

5. Add adsense in your blog.
Now, that our blog is getting spread and known. We can now sign up for google adsense.
For those who doesn’t know google adsense, it offers a contextual advertising solution to web publishers. It delivers text-based Google AdWords ads that are relevant to site content pages.
There is a link for adsense in blogger.com. We can attach adsense widgets through the blogger control panel. Be careful in following the google adsense rules and regulations.

6. Be an affiliate.
Affiliate Marketing is promoting products (digital,ebooks,software,etc.) and get comission from sales. ClickBank is one of the well known affiliate marketing network. Register as an affiliate. Select the best product to promote. Choose the product that you believe will generate an income, a product with quality and you believe that you yourself will buy. They will provide you the codes for the ads that you can attach to your website.

7. Increase traffic to your website.
Sign up with technorati.Claim and add tags to your blog. What is technorati?
Technorati is an Internet search engine for searching blogs. Real-time search for user-generated media (including weblogs) by tag or keyword. Also provides popularity indexes.

8. Join Forums, discussion boards and newsgroup.
You can get hundreds of backlinks to your sites. You can share your blogs. Learn more information and ideas.

9. Keep in mind that it’s the quality of our blogs not the quantity will make readers keep coming back. If they find our blogs with substance, there is a potential to have them as our regular readers or share our blogs to others. Update our blog atleast once or twice a week if you cannot do it everyday.

10. Put what you have learned into action. Start now and be a responsible blogger.
